Sounds like a mere coincidence, honestly. Also, I doubt the name of 2-73 will be Anavex if/once approved by the FDA. The FDA has strict standards for the naming of drugs, plus I don't think its in their best interest to approve drugs that have very similar names...can you imagine all the mix ups that could occur when dispensing drugs when their names are so similar?
