I hear you brother. Your boys ran into those MLB juggernauts known as the Braves and Phillies in September and we all know what happens there....
As for the injuries, it sucks for sure. In an ideal world, all teams would have a fully healthy roster and the best team would win in the end. This is a fantasy however. The teams that come out on top are those which make do when the hard times hit, ie, the Rangers, the Dodgers, the Nats.
Hard times in Met-land this season to be sure, but as a long suffering Brewers fan, all I can say is cry me a river. Your front office sucks, the Met's late season deals suck and in spite of all the injuries, you still have a legitimate shot at becoming cannon fodder for the Cubs. It could always be worse.
