100,000 shares selling two cents lower than the close the day before?
That is probable if the bananas have bruises, then take the $2000.00 loss, but all things being equal why not try to get the most for your shares? And at least put your sell price in at the close of the day before not .82 which is a price not seen on this dip.
In my opinion , and it is just my opinion. The seller of one hundred thousand shares this morning was trying to instil fear so that other sellers would sell to them @$.80 or $.81

It didn't work

I understand what you have said, but it is oversimplified in my opinion.
How does only a few thousand stocks move the price by 5% when 10's of millions are outstanding? That is the question. By your logic, If I bid $1.00 on Monday on 2000 shares the price should jump to $ 1.00 if only one person is willing to pay that much.

Using your logic, the two people created the 100,000 shares, two cents lower "gap" open this morning, because no one else was interested in the stock, but after it reached $.81 , $.83 and .84 and .85 all of a sudden looked fantastic to the uninterested parties.
