The giants have a bullpen that is really bad, I'm not a big believer of building your team through the bullpen, but if it is awful it can wreck a team.
As for the cards they are not that good. There pitching stinks. And their defensively challenged and I'm being nice.
He has done well considering the injuries. But they will be getting Matz back this weekend. And Gsellman and Lugo have pitched very well since coming up to fill spots. And Colon and Syndergauaard have been very good, is their pitching as strong as it was absolutely not, but if they can get matz back, I still think Matz colon and syndergauaard isn't bad towards the top and Lugo has been great for them so far FWIW. And gsellman has been solid as well. Reed and Familia are fine in the 8th and 9th, that is as long as tc doesn't start yanking them to play lefty lefty. Their lineup is been diminished with now flores down, Duda and Lageres are essentially useless, walker gone and so is wright. Bruce they have gotten 0 from. D'arunad has been and unmitigated disaster and so has conforto. Grandy has picked up recently.
The one thing that has really helped is reyes, that was a great pickup for the mets in my opinion.
