tradeherpete....great response to my question and I concur 100%--I'm glad you mentioned the piano player and the artist--those reports on how they have regained lost skills after taking 2-73 seem not to be significant by most on this board.I think those reports are mind-boggleing especially emphasizing what Dr. MacFarlene discussed re: mood-quality of life-joy with being able to participate in life.Test scores on paper are one thing but how do you put a number on happiness-self-satisfaction-everyday mood improvement---PRICELESS---I truly believe Anavex is "quality merchandise" and hope one day all will recognize it as such. Thanks for shareing your experiences with your mom !!! Best of luck to you !

The one thing you overlook is the medical history of these patients.

For all we know they are medical anomalies likes those few that cured from HIV on their own.

For all we know these are the only patients that showed progress and all the others just declined as a normal AD patient.

Are these 32 people representative for the "normal" Alzheimer population?

We need bigger trials to confirm results. Sooner rather then later.
