To repeat...be careful...Krill is extracted from the from the seas near the South Pole..Unlike fish oil or potentially EPA from alternate sources..the Krill harvest is very limited...Why?? ...The seas in that area are homes of many whales and other species that depend on Krill for their diet..

Vascepa simply uses EPA derived from fish oil at present..but it could use alternate sources, eg. micro algae or vat production..Since the Krillers are claiming special benefits from Krill specific EPA they have in effect bottled their prospects in a very small bottle.

If EPA turns out to be as important and effective in many conditions, there will be huge demand for the commodity..The demand will exceed the limits of the annual fish oil harvest...The Krill oil harvest is only a small percentage of the fish oil harvest..And is limited by conservation interests...
