The vast majority of deals like this do take longer than originally planned. So many legal steps to jump thru and any one being delayed can throw off even the best planned schedule. The main reason for mergers failing is the aquiring company finding out bad news about the aquired party's financials. In this case all PixelMags is aquiring is an empty shell as a conduit to go public so it would be quite odd (but not impossible) to uncover some awful "secret" in this transaction to derail the reverse merger. IMHO
