natural, good question. The HPLovecraft-ezine website is the host website for H.P. Lovecraft works of all types. It is featuring the Mountains of Madness link to the series. 244,516 H.P. Lovecraft fans have subscribed (for free) to the Ezine web site and receive updates on the various Lovecraft articles and product, like MoM. H.P. Lovecraft fans are a niche market and closely follow the author's works.

My guess is that every one of those 244 thousand will sign up as soon as the first episode is released, which is projected for October. Here's why. These followers of Lovecraft are akin to Star Wars fans. If a brand new, year long series of Star Wars episodes (one per week) came out on their fan website and the cost was only $20 for the entire series for the year, how many would sign up? Probably most. Their Starbucks bill is probably less than $20 per week!

Not only that, but this is the first complete animated Mountains of Madness story to be produced. There are short clips from other attempts but to my knowledge, other than printed and illustrated written works, this is the first attempt at the entire story as a video. So to those 244,516 followers on the H.P.Lovecraft-Ezine website, this will be a first.

Here's something else to think about. The Ezine website is a pretty focused and serious site on Lovecraft. Here's what the editor posts with regard to what the Ezine will allow to be promoted on the site:

ADVERTISE

The Lovecraft eZine reaches tens of thousands of people every day. The magazine’s website has a strong internet presence, and has a Facebook page with over 200,000 followers.

So the numbers are high, and yes, numbers are very important in advertising. But even more importantly, horror and Lovecraft fans trust what I recommend. I’ve worked a long time to build that trust, and I’ve promised my readers that I’ll never betray it by recommending a book, movie, or any other product that I don’t truly believe is worth their time or money.

That trust in me means more click-throughs to your site. With that in mind, please note that I do not accept everyone as an advertiser. I need to believe in your product and believe that if I accept you as an advertiser, my readers will truly benefit and be happy with what you are selling.

If you’re interested in advertising with The Lovecraft eZine, send an email to lovecraftezine@gmail.com . Let me know what you’d like to advertise and what your budget is, and I’m sure we can come up with a solution that works for you.

My readers trust me, and that’s important to you as an advertiser. But my advertisers trust me, too. If you advertise with The Lovecraft eZine, please know that my main goal is to promote you. If you’re spending money, you need to see results from it. I’ll do my best to make sure that happens.
