My Take on the SHow Last Night

1) Sal- The crooner, he was okay, but music drowned him out in parts, flat in others, he could of held on to some notes longer. Hit a few good notes along the way, not great, not bad.

Grade C

2) Blake- The first magician, thought it was good. But I didn't like the invisibility trick when he was on the lift, his stage presence can use some work, and I have some idea how he pulled it off, which takes a bit away from it for me.

Grade B-

3) Edgar- I'm normally not a huge fan of these guys, not to say I dislike the family band, but I never was a believer like the judges. Yesterday however was the best we heard them overall, I thought it was pretty good, like the end, the song was good, for the most part the lead singer did a very good job, hitting some big notes along the way. Just liked it overall a lot more then I normally like their stuff.

Grade B+

4) Lori- I Thought she was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better this week then last time. Finished extremely well, disagree with getting someone to write her material like one of the judges said I thought her material was fine last night. She has a good stage presence, although I could do without the laugh to start the act. I found her funny overall.

Grade B+

5) Musicality- I like them normally, but this was one of their weakest performances, I thought the solos were weak they could of picked a better song, they were actually better in the film they should of sang that song. Overall Slightly below average.

Grade C-

6) Deadly Games- They got away from their knives, which I liked. They had better stage presence, and I just thought the act was very good, and the increased production of the act was a plus. I really liked it.

Grade A-

7) Tape Face- He does more with less then I have ever seen and he is a character, having said that I thought the act was a bit silly, don't get me wrong overall I enjoyed this guy I just thought this wasn't his best, and quite frankly their are better acts that deserve to move on.

Grade C

8) Jon Dorenbos- The football player turned magician, I thought his act was the best of the night up until this point, and one of the two best acts of the night overall. I like the tricks, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better stage presence then the other magic act, and I have no clue how he did it, which makes it even better.

Grade A

9) Grace- She sang better in the second half of that song. Easier to understand then normal. Song wasn't terrible. Having said that just because I found this performance improved for her doesn't mean it was good overall. I don't love her style, a lot of times I still can't understand her., and a lot of times I don't love her songs, I know the judges love her, but I'm not as big of fan.

Grade C-

10) Malevo- The dance group I thought they were very good, I like the addition of the water to the act, that upped the act in my opinion. I liked it.

Grade B+

10) Laura- The little girl opera singer, now opera ain't my bag, but to be fair she is and amazing talent. I think one of the best two performances of the night in my opinion.

Grade A

My Top 5
Laura
Deadly Games
Jon
(2 of the following three Malevo, Lori and Edgar) for me they are quite equal.

All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
