I think Li has access to the patents now….and so what's to compel him into paying
the remaining 55 million?

I'm assuming the patents give one bmg formulations.
Once you have formulations, what more do you need?

According to the letter of the law he could use those formulas and still violate those patents—like someone might violate a copyright—but if you have neither the wherewithal financially or manpower-wise to legally go after someone….as LQMT wouldn't (speaking financially)……and especially in a country like China that is well known for copyright violations and infringements…..

I don't see that we have much to stand on if Li doesn't come through with the final payments.

Someone on the board here more familiar with BMG patents and formulations, or patent law, might clarify.

Absolutely correct. Lugee has no access to patents until the time that the contract is consummated, which is now 6 months after the original closing date of the contract. August 17th vs Dec 16, 2016.

Name any one extension of anything that Steipp has made which has come to fruition on time.
