The fact that Singapore Telecom has integrated 2FA/OOB into their entire Infrastructure , it will be very very difficult for them to get away with it. Go to Singtel website and look for 2FA/OOB integration.
Given Mr. Kay's vision of net worth, Microsoft may have made an offer to Strikeforce which was way below the asking price. As mentioned other purchases were made by MS which may not have panned out for them causing them to be leary of purchasing another company....who knows(only my opinion). The present trend for larger corporations is to contract out various facets of business. Strikeforce may become a contractor business which is not in line with Mr. Kay's vision of a buyout but who cares, it adds to net worth and there's nothing like VALUE. All my opinion. Have a glass of water with that grain of salt.
