I have experience with clinical depression (a friend) and AD (parent). My mother's depression is strictly AD related and not in any way relatable to clinical depression. AD sufferers are depressed by their suffering and helplessness, not the other way around. I'd be low and want to die too I suspect; having already lived a long full life helps I suppose, or makes the decline no less upsetting.

Anyway, the mood improvements being clinically monitored and measured is good to see. I wonder how broadly it is being experienced; the poster's stats cannot provide us that answer. I suspect it strongly registers in those cited sub-populations with the discernable therapeutic responses.
