I done a ton of international wire transfers and can tell you that it usually takes at least three days to clear. I have also has a number of wires that didn't initiate because of a minor error. I haven't sent or received a wire from China, so that's a whole different ball game.

Hell, the arrangements would have been made and the transfer made public days ago in a normal environment .....

Steipp, Chung et. al. are the only ones who profited today, we just do not know how our pockets have been picked.
