You're making a semantic argument and I believe you are abusing the term CURE. I also don't believe we have even anecdotal information for all seven of the non Donepezil participants.



1: recovery from a disease <his cure was complete>; also : remission of signs or symptoms of a disease especially during a prolonged period of observation <a clinical cure> <5-year cure of cancer>—compare arrest.

2: a drug, treatment, regimen, or other agency that cures a disease <quinine is a cure for malaria>

We do not yet know if these patients will continue to retain their lost skills. We also don't know if they have gone back to a pre-disease state "normal" which would be required to say they are "cured" in any sense of the word.

Also - diabetics can do well with insulin, asthmatics take drugs to improve breathing, but neither is cured.
