Thing of it is - both companies will crank it up first of the year. FDA will not drag it out any longer than 9/30 but I think it comes in 10-12 days. Big money (GSK) always gets professional courtesy

FDA doesn't have to approve any company. There has been and instance in the past whereby the FDA gave exclusive rights to a company which made generic compounds for a drug. I can't remember the name of the drug but I remember the information. Also, it would be a good idea to take a look at the past work experience of some of the top people in the FDA and then look them up on Linkedin. Don't be surprised if they have a cushy job with Pharma.
