Same story with Schwab. I logged on and got a message asking me to ensure my address and contact info is current. Happened last week. Cannot recall the exact wording of the request.
But Ameritrade did not make such a request for my Ameritrade account. Possibly because that is an IRA and Ameritrade is the trustee (so my personal current address is not important, only the trustee's)? Don't know. Just guessing.
