I agree with everything you said except:

My DD on this suggests that it's a widespread myth (i.e. that these orders don't really prevent shares from being shorted).

Perhaps you and/or others here could do some real DD on this and see if it's true or not?

Confirmed Google has been infringing on SFOR patents. We will be filing suit against them a bit later confirmed by Kay in an email reply. Now who is not locking up their shares with GTC sell orders at nice silver coins above yet? Heck on those lawsuits alone SFOR should be at .25 plus with bigger buyout offers for SFOR ahead. Also remember Google is just one of the bigger companies they will be going after soon! There are more BIG companies that infringed also. This I going to be a fun ride up in the months ahead. They went after the easiest companies to get fast wins. Microsoft settled in 6 months. The 3 they are suing now will fold and settle fast too IMO then we get to go after the bigger companies like Google and the rest.
