It was posted and read (by me) years ago. So: what would you like to say / suggest with it?

A lot of report / article dealings with the "danger" of early stop, but none of them said that early stop isn't possible ... The Co. guidance is very clear: ALL endpoints should be overwhelming, statistically significant, robust, etc.

So again: what would you like to say / suggest with this citation?

Everyone makes mistakes. It is a lot more classy just admitting your error, rather than "scrambling" and dissembling. Yes if there was 500 events in the V arm and 501 in the placebo arm we might want to hold on longer in hope of a miracle. Your entire persona is to give the impression that you are completely objective and are simply following the facts to logical conclusions...This is clearly just a masquerade.
