One side or the other is going to use this to make themselves look good. It's so obvious, this is the delays we are seeing. Won't be surprised if Obummer AKA Berry Springs the release, Relist and recap, just like he killed OBL just before his re-election, my brother in law told me a month before and I thought he was full of it, lol to my surprise he was 100% correct.

That contrasts with the 2012 version of the platform, which stated, "Both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac should be wound down in size and scope."

It's unclear what the significance of the change is or why it was made.

Top Republican leaders, including House Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling, have repeatedly called for the end of the government-sponsored enterprises. There is no sign that they have eased up on that view. Additionally, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the Republican vice presidential nominee, is a close ally to Hensarling and has previously endorsed privatizing Fannie and Freddie.

Still, because Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has not weighed in on the issue, the change in the platform has opened the door to speculation.

Because Trump knows FNMA is a vehicle for the working class to become home owners and he stated in his speech last night that he is going to be the champion of the working class.
