Thanks for the update, Autolog, may your friend continue to enjoy life for many years. Very sorry about your house. I own a house in the Sierra foothills and the fire danger has increased so much with drought and more severe weather patterns, but still it's impossible to imagine how hard it must be to cope with such a big loss of your life's HQ.
