Whatever trading platform you use from your broker should have a tab for "Options Chain" Look at that for the details. Different stocks have different prices, AVXL has a $2.50 spread between strike points, they've added $10 and $12.50 recently, added a $15.00 strike today.

There are strikes for 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, and 12.5 that I can see.

For example, when the August Options showed up after June's expired, the 5 dollar August contracts were .45 cents, and now are worth $2+ since the stock price was in the low 4s and is now over $7.

The strike is set by the exchange $0.50, $2.50, $5.00, $7.50, $12.50, etc. the Premium (Option price) varies with the market price according to an Options Industry algorithm.
