When a person or institution does not cover a naked short in the allotted time frame, that is a violation of SEC rules. When two or more people or institutions collaborate to issue naked shorts, that is a conspiracy. I don't see much SEC interest in either of these offenses. At the very least, we need a return to the uptick rule.
Can anything be done about it? how long they can crush the breakouts?? Wish the management announce a stunning news that crush these hedgie criminals someday with no return never here at AMRN.
