Because I believe that I am entitled to state my opinion without, for example, being attacked, does not mean that I have, in fact, been attacked.

Therefore, opining that

I am entitled to state an opinion contrary to yours without being called a basher or without being called a paid confederate

does not mean I am of the position that I have in fact been called a basher or a paid confederate.

Also, simply because you have not explicitly called me a paid confederate or a basher does not mean that you have not implied either.
