I have to say, the Buggy Whip was a gem. Been there many times. Stop by for Prime Rib dinner served by a 108 (embellishing) year old woman who has been working there for 90 years(also embellishing), while on my way to LAX.
The place had a dive bar and sleazy piano dude, red seated booths dated and aged perfectly. But I have to say, they presented great prime rib dinner just before that flight. I miss the knight standing at the door.
I too hope they reopen.
