I don't think boston is trading any pitching and why in the world would you want there pitching it has been awful.

I think we need to see what Verrett does, there have been time we have seen flashes in a small sample size. He has about 4 starts before the deadline lets see what he is got. Could always go out and get a back end starter. it is not like we need to acquire a tehran type, we might need a back end guy, but remember for this 2016 harvey was a 5th starter, a 5th starter by definition kind of pitches like what harvey did this season in my opinion. I don't think it is impossible for verrett to pitch better then harvey almost 5 era. And if we need a guy we can always get one at the deadline, degromm and synderguaard are the top of the rotation in my opinion, we don't need another top of the rotation starter. we need a back end guy. Also keep in Mind in about Mid august Wheeler might come into play as well.

I think the most important thing we need to acquire is back end bullpen guy to go with reed and Familia in my opinion. That should be priority They need another arm in that pen.
