I understand your thoughts based on little research. Now, check both offense and defense to see who has had the greatest effect. He is the best player on the team with the best record in baseball. He is not only a clutch hitter, but has thrown out several baserunners from center field (a position he had never played in his career).
The fact that you include a DH as a potential MVP shows you haven't thought this through.
Whether or not the Rangers fade as you assure me will depend both on whether or not our ace pitcher makes it back and/or the Rangers make yet again a great mid season trade.
