I know very little about M&A protocol, but what would have really changed about the asking price Platinum wanted for IMSC? Because I assume they were doing the asking.

Platinum should have requested a sale price for IMSC, there would have been back and forth negotiation on that price and a figure in theory would have been come to, but I'm sure that didn't come at the last minute. They all probably knew CATSA was in the bag, so that number could have been plugged in already.

All they had to do, if it's a buy-out, is to come to terms on that final price.
