You're misapplying the quote as it was intended to reflect investors' interests as they attempt to manipulate the affected stock's market.

Hermann has no physical ownership role in the company. He is not even being paid!

The quote might actually be better directed at yourself if you happen to hold a position in this stock.

As for Hermann, I suspect he's requesting the stay in order to better position himself by getting additional time for more detailed discovery.
