BB, that should be true but BC/BS of Kansas doesn't make the distinction. They state that either preparation of Omega 3 PUFA raises LDL-C. None of them will ever get the science right but our saving grace is - we will soon have Reduce-It. A successful CVOT will ultimately trump improvement in a surrogate marker.
