Got a college/financial aid question...

My first one is on an athletic scholarship...my second one, well, she was working on it until she fractured her spine between the L5 and L6 and decided to hang up her cleats.

We have been back and forth with paying for ourselves or financial aid. She has a small scholarship but nowhere near food/dorm/tuition/etc.

Is there a cutoff or determination on parental income as to qualification, and if so, why if the child is over 18? Is FASA the only source, are there others. I know it is late in the game, but I am prepared to pay the entire amount, but having second thoughts on doing so.

Thanks.
