...been involved in all types of cases, although not alot of "white collar"...I'm sure you'll see more conspiracies in this type...
...know two detectives who were in on the "Son of Sam" case...you should have (and STILL) seen the dozens, if not hundreds of conspiracy theories surrounding that case...fairly simply, the guy lived in Yonkers, NY and drove to Queens and Brooklyn killing and terrorizing young couples...a NYC "beat cop" issues a parking summons to Berkowitz' vehicle, and the rest is, as they say, history...he was loosely tied to a satanic cult which held rituals in Untermeyer Park in Yonkers...many people still believe that he was merely one of several murderers...bottom line : No conspiracy ; a one-man lunatic crime spree...nothing else was ever proven, or given much validity...
