i agree what you said on the other board

to have a vote on a matter involving such significant upheaval decided by 52-48 is wrong.

60% at least. 2/3 majority preferred. To commit the country to such a path it should be the clear will of most of the people.

52/48 is enough that it can be altered by the weather. Like massive rainstorms. I get the feeling that if the vote were held today, it could flip to the same numbers with the opposite result.

Not well thought out.

But we will have to live with it
