Nobody ever does "what I want them to do...when I want them to do it"...


Ideally (in My mind) I would have the company Sell a Ton of December Put Options...at various strikes...as a "contingency buyback program"...imo, they likely would not have to even Buy any shares...just collect Premium...

Then...use the proceeds to Increase the dividend by 10c/Q (there I Go again)...I had discussed this as far back as the mid Janet Point years...
The time to do this is when the Company has lots of Cash, and fairly steady revenues coming in, and the SP has dropped "too low" (subjective)...
This as opposed to spending $$$ buying shares...

An announcement of a divvie increase would take the SP back to $60...pronto...
