I believe the management is fully aware(Nasdaq compliance) and decided to do the right thing for all cdxc participants.............
"Because while the OTC BB and the Pinks may still be akin to the old wild west they chose to move up to the NASDAQ where they had to sign some serious paper work to get listed! Legal repercussions there are much heavier." Danni

Here is one of the adopted compliance under Nasdaq:
"Under the NASDAQ Stock Market Marketplace Rules, a director will only qualify as an independent director if, in the opinion of our Board, that person does not have a relationship that would interfere with the exercise of independent judgment in carrying out the responsibilities of a director. The Board has determined that each of Stephen Allen, Stephen Block, Reid Dabney, Hugh Dunkerley, Jeff Baxter and Robert Fried has no material relationship with our Company and is independent within the independence requirements of Marketplace Rule 5605(a)(2) of the NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc. Frank L. Jaksch Jr. does not meet the independence standards because of he is the Chief Executive Officer of our Company." 10k 2015 cdxc

Here is another way how I looked at the event:
few subjective statements first
"you can take a person out of ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of him/her."
or
"you can take investors out of OTC/PINK-SHEET stocks but can't take the PINK-SHEET(THINKING) out of investors"
and
a question:
Would "a shanigan management" volunteered to leave the "Wild West" and stuck in a "rules, compliances, disclosures galore NASDAQ"?

Are you aware predictable animals are an easy grey?
Lunch meat for Wall Street boyz: "KNOW THE PRICE OF OF EVERYTHING and value of none" investors can be EASILY SPOOKED by any attack. Last attack is only the beginning, more coming, get use to them, and LEARN HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.WOOOOWWWW.

Bottom line:
How to set yourself free from the "un-trust" bias:
Numbers,numbers,numbers.Trust but verified" President Reagan.

Danni,

I agree with you. How can you trust that the revenues are not manipulated? I am beginning to think that they are for the following reasons.

1. They have yet to come out with any significant response. If the allegations are false, I would have had a strong statement out within hours of that article hitting the net.

2. First quarter revenues seem quite small for a company that more than doubled their clients over last year. Also, why is no one mentioning anything about the 5LINX $60 million deal that they signed a couple years ago? I mentioned it a couple times now but no one comments on this. If that deal was legitimate, we should be seeing higher revenues than $7 million.

3. They are being secretive about certain things, not just the P&G deal. When inquiries are made with investor relations, I can't get an answer.

4. This director that resigned recently is being investigated for fraud.

5. I question whether or not NR is superior to niacin or niacinamide.

What are your thoughts about the 5LINX deal?
