#12179 RE: medchem #12172

blast from the past, post #10963 from medchem:

Ingnstrng, given that they have already built a prototype for lab use to test their novel FAIMS cell and they have detected THC at standard temperature and pressure, the hardest work is done. Parts are ordered for them to build a device that can be field tested, or tested clinically by another company (given, no THC at UFL), to demonstrate that it can effectively and accurately detect THC from human breath within 2 hours. They will have this company do so, to ensure that the results are reproducible. IMO - This shouldn't take more than 6 months if done properly.

I would worry less about court approval, it will strictly depend on how accurate this device is. If this device is superbly accurate (which it is, given the precision accuracy of the FAIMS cell reported in the literature), then that will allow government to expedite the process. Government wants to see accurate scientific results to ensue nobody is going to get locked up when they are sober. Cannabix has claimed they have been working with government to get ready, preemptively preparing... I imagine it will proceed quickly. The demand is astonishing.

IMO - We will make a LOT of money off of this once field testing is completed and they have the results back. It will be at that point that someone will likely buy them out and we will cash in. However, we should also cash in once the first Beta prototype is assembled in a month or two and they show the world some visuals.
