I don't see this taking another year to sort out. Unlike litigation, there won't be numerous motion dates and general courtroom housecleaning days. I wouldn't think the arbitration itself would last any longer than the Harris/Ericy trial. At this point the issues are well defined and narrow in scope...just need an independent trier of fact to ram it down Nokia's throat before they accept reality. In my experience in mediation/arbitration I would expect a decision from the arbitrator within 60 days of hearing all of the facts. My only question if somebody can help is how is the choice of arbitrator to be dictated between the parties and was a date to start arbitration set in any news release you guys have seen? Still long and strong!
