Not at all - Investopedia.com has some good discussions of TA techniques. FTR=Fisher Transform. It creates a wave that opens and closes. Closing down wave is often a good indicator of an upcoming price move up, but it needs to be confirmed by other indicators and I always look at multiple time frames. Still, the 60 minute seems to be a very good leading indicator that gives you time to get a good buy before the price goes up. TDA doesn't have it either.
