#16809 RE: BioMania #16807

Thanks! I learned a lot about regulatory science over the years interacting with others, and then researching things on my own. That "excellent DD" post is actually my writing but my post was to old to sticky, so Nathaniel copy and pasted it. I know a lot about TPIV. Knew a year ago Mayo's technology would be Fast Tracked and would catch the attention of BP simply by reading Knutson's studies; and understanding its mechanism of action. I'm strange in the fact that I read scientific abstracts and research papers for fun and throughly enjoy researching my picks. If there's anything to know, then I do. Maintain thousands of pages notes, on all aspects of my investments. For instance, it's not uncommon that I have portions of patents, hundreds of research papers, and 10q's in my phone for easy retrieval. If I posted on it, then I have it. Investing for me is an interesting hobby to say the least, and I enjoy staying well informed. But when you invest the sums of money that I do (diversified) it's good to know what one owns, and understand the market, which I feel I do. Possibly to a flaw as I can spot ridiculous day-trader assertions a mile away and will often comment on them. It can get me into trouble at times. Obviously I'm not a fan of day-traders trying to squeeze investors, at all. :)
