As an attorney, I frequently encounter incredulity from people who expresss amazement at the way the legal system works. Such a lawsuit could never, ever be sustained. But that would not keep the class action sharks from bringing one. Especially since Wave and its insurer elected to settle another groundless suit recently.

Your reaction also assumes something that in practice is not true. It is rarely the case that a company has no discretion at all concerning when it elects to finalize a deal and announce it.
[EDIT] The e-mail you just posted says essentially the same thing.

Interesting. Wave got a $10 million contract back in 2000 and in six years still hasn't booked even close to that. So much for PRs and Wave.
