If you spend some time dissecting the financials you will see Bruce spent about $30 M on sales, marketing, and Admin, and about $15 M on R&D (almost entirely contracted out) over the 16 years. For that there has been a massive dilution in stock from about 14 M shares to the current fully diluted share count of about 640 M shares.
It is all sunk costs and the only ones on the hook are the convertible debt holders which can convert any time at about .03 per share and in the meantime they earn 10% interest. That is why when the stock gets over .03 you always see selling pressure. They are profitable until the price falls below there accumulated interest income.
