A one year subscription is standard with most software such as Norton, McAfee Anti-virus and Trend Micro software...nothing nefarious about it. More revenue for SFOR and if it was a one time payment I would have been more alarmed. I too own Guarded ID (one year subscription). Sweet renewable revenue, gotta love it.
I just sent your message to George Waller of Strikeforce in N.J., as I contacted him earlier about the Amazon description of Guarded ID, because it indicated that it was only for PC computers, not MACs (although it works for both platforms).
Hi George,
Here’s some more info for you about GID that should probably be listed on Amazon (from the SFOR stock board of IHUB).
I didn't realize that it was a 1-year subscription either.
Here's his contact info if you want to follow up with anything:

Look at the bright side: investors have been worried about sales and revenues: now, thanks to your discovery, we know the company stands to gain from annual renewals as well.
Response from George Waller at Strikeforce to my email (containing your post)
Hi,
That’s a valid point. In our shopping cart that we have on our site we actually have it (1 yr. subscription) in our description, however, Amazon doesn’t use our shopping cart, they use their own. I will have my team add it to the actual description.
Thanks again, good catch!
Regards,
George

P.S. I see GID says Mac compatible on the box. but in the Amazon description of the software it only says Windows/PC computers, so I thought it should be corrected.
How many Amazon shoppers really look at the box photo that carefully?
