OK, I've been running my laptop on win10 and haven't seen it running any cooler. My desktop runs much better on win10, but, not the laptop. I should have stayed with win7 on the laptop, but, won't bother reverting back since I'd only be doing so for a game that I really don't have much time for these days.

yes, I understand protein folding is CPU intensive....I run chess engines almost 24/7 on my high end machine, which also puts 100% load on the CPU...I use CoreTemp to monitor, and never had too much issue with heat, low 60s C.....but have liquid cooling and over a dozen fans total!!!

just looking for ballpark guesstimate on how much cooler you were getting....

PS: I'm using Win7 Pro on all my machines...
