They better get a deal within 6 months or we can fire this BoD and replace them with folks who will get a deal done! Their job is to bring value to the Shareholders, not give themselves raises and bonuses for doing nothing.
The six month thing is very interesting. With a company truly wanting to look like and play with the big boys, I would normally expect extraordinary caution in such forward looking statements, and that - when they are given - they have previously been run by and approved by counsel. '
So let's say they are really shooting for the end of Q3, and 2 more months were added just in case delays happen.
To me - to me - this could well indicate that they are working on a specific deal right now.
