Reading sheet music is actually a fairly complex cognitive function. You have to read the key, timing, relate the printed note to the keyboard and remember when to flat or sharp the note.

This is not "learned memory" and it is not creative,purely cognitive and requires short term memory to execute.

Painting requires skill, correct application and mixing of colors on the palette and the canvas, calculation of proper perspective, light source, etc. These are also cognitive functions.

To play golf one must calculate distance to the hole, allow for wind, choose the correct club, etc. Cognitive function.
