Time does fly doesn't it... that's what makes us all nervous.
The way I interpret this though is as follows:
Previous CEOs or directors have taken us on trips based on possible developments.
I feel that part of what TZ has achieved in the past 2-3 years has been to very gently bring us back to a situation where the company now only communicates on achievements, linked to a next step. Their record for the past 12 months has been almost spotless (achieving 9 out of 10 self imposed deadlines) with one exception (the slot waveguide modulator). I am now very anxious for this 2.5Gbps OC48 modulator to come out by Q4.
When you add in the fact that this 2014 SOH slot modulator, highlighted by Jim at the ASM, based on a 3rd party modulator architecture but coated with our material, already achieved 30-35 Gbps, now builds up my confidence in their ability to come out with the OC192 compatible, 10Gbps modulator proto in Q1. And their ability to scale rapidly beyond that point. As long as they keep hitting their own deadlines, the same way they have done it this last year.
I feel this has changed from previous managements. The results have the potential to make up for some of the delays encountered. I am very anxious indeed.
