Yup and look back at the WAMU BK where they said the shareholders will get nothing but they did. For every 6 of those you mention I can mention 4 because that is the actual ratio of BK that wipe out shareholders VS the BK where the shareholders retained their shares. Which was my point in the first place. 60% of BKs end with the shareholders being wiped out Not 99% as you stated. And in the 40%...the assets outweigh the liabilities every time and the shareholders are still invested.

Totally untrue. I was the most active Shack mod and flippers got killed in that stock. There were two brief upticks (in like 18 months) but few got out then.
Near the end, RSH did say shareholders would likely get nothing, and that's what happened. ZERO!
