is buying IDCC out for no less than $250 per share the poison pill still stands I asked Janet last week or so !!

that is, in a friendly deal. This issue has been explained many times in the past. The $250 tag is not a low-end limit for a potential acquirer. Sorry I don't have a link for you.

PLF:Poison Pill Provisions Apply to HOSTILE Takeovers Only!

A non-hostile acquistion doesn't have to be for $250 a share.

I'm not saying a (friendly) buyout is likely or unlikely. Just that the provision you cite applies ONLY in the case of hostile takeovers.
