I'm finding that the farther otm the option the lower the chances are that I get my money back out of it. Buying near the money and holding 1-2 days max is turning out to be where the money is for me.

uhhh, ya might want to re think that logic.

Money is made and profit taken (by astute players) well before the option expires. Regardless of whether it goes to zero.

That said, indeed most expire worthless. And most people lose; )
