Latos we knew he was gonna come back crashing down to earth. The question is what is crashing because Latos gives you and average start of 6 innings 3 runs yes that is crashing from the beginning of the season, but that would still be a decent 4th/5th starter type, so he might not even have to be replaced if he comes crashing down in my opinion. Danks is just so bad he need to be gone now in my opinion.

not for nuttin, but Latos was my fave cheapie free agent, and I wanted KC to take him so very much. I think you got a steal with the potential of a real strong season for not too much....of course he went cheap for a reason, so there's no guarantees with this guy, plus he's supposedly aint good in the clubhouse. Still, wish KC grabbed him.

best.

If Latos stays healthy, he can be a decent pitcher, albeit not dominant like he has been to start the season. That is fine. Danks? Sox have to bite the bullet and eat his salary. He just has not been anywhere near the pitcher he was since shoulder surgery four years ago. If the Sox want a vet arm, we do have Miguel Gonzalez in the minors. He was always a decent pitcher for Baltimore.

Well, White Sox finally bit the bullet today and designated Danks for assignment!!!!! Thank you Adam Laroche for saving us enough money to allow us to eat the rest of Danks salary!
