McMagyar--fully agree--this story needs to be shouted from the rooftops--where are all the major news outlets on this fantastic development?? Bloomberg,Fox News,Ap,UPI,Cnbc,Reuters,DJ etc. Why aren't they all over this great news from Australia? Are they all out to lunch?? or payed off by BP? Our public needs to be informed of this great progress being made to fight this dread disease.

You are so right, McMagyar, and the enemy has already an answer for the Melbourne results.

I passed on the article and the video to the director of a local senior day care center where early to mild Alzheimer's patient attend. She, in turn, sent it to a local doctor who I believe is working with Biogen and its drug, aducanumab.

Instead of replying that news is great or have heard about the results, he responded, "... there are many drugs in small trials currently, and a few in larger trials. This piece is sensational journalism ..." [My emphasis]

BP will not never quit demonizing Anavex until it is bought out (and buried) or receives FDA approval, becomes SOC and is endorsed by the AMA, whose doctors fear revenue losses if Anavex succeeds.

Scottsmith, as a reply to your deleted message:

McMagyar's comments about Anavex being at war with BP are not a disgrace to veterans as many think their wars are now at home.

Veterans everyday are fighting for proper and better medical and psychological care whether it is with the VA, local doctors, clinics et al. Many claim it is a war to obtain the care that they need to survive. Please refer to the Phoenix VA fiasco that showed vets were waiting 6 months or more for appointments.
